As Credentialing Specialist - of CHM you will be liable to perform the following job duties:
       Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage the end-to-end credentialing process for healthcare providers including initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and de-credentialing.
  • Verify the accuracy and authenticity of all provider credentials including licenses, certifications, education, training, and experience.
  • Maintain up-to-date and accurate credentialing databases and files, ensuring quick and efficient retrieval of information when needed.
  • Collaborate with different departments, including legal and billing, to facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular audits of the credentialing files to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Keep abreast of changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards pertaining to credentialing and implement necessary changes in the credentialing process.
  • Assist in negotiating contract terms and maintaining contractual documents with providers.
  • Serve as a point of contact for providers and other stakeholders for all credentialing-related inquiries and issues.
  • Prepare and present credentialing reports to management and relevant committees.
